Its a real story I( RK) was in 2nd or 3rd standard cant remember exactly. The day was Sunday full of bright sunshine. There was enthusiasm in the environment. Of course Day was fest of our family Goddess "Vijayadurga" Keri Ponda Goa. I went with my family for the function in morning around 10am to the temple. There is nice deepa stambha in front of temple.. I climbed on that had nice luk of surrounding area. From there I saw the beautiful view of lake jus down side of the temple. And very important two boats. which are usually used for the procession of goddess.
I got company of my cousins total three of them to go near the lake. wow what a view, words are not enough to describe the beauty of the nature. One of my cousin told he and his father just before one hour had ride of boat n he knows how to ride boat. There was coconut leaf stem in boat.. he told how to use it to ride boat. I said ok lets go then. I was excited to go in boat. One of my cousin said he wont come and he stayed back. we three went in boat. Its interesting I am 8-9 years old my one cousin 3 years old and other years old. I believed on 5 years cousin and decided to take ride of boat. ok I made boat free by removing tided rope to the pole. slowly with the wind flow boat went to in the middle of lake. Than my small cousin 3 years old started crying he got afraid and started saying he want to go back to mom.. and started dancing g in boat...............
Boat started shaking No one knows swimming. some how I made him to stay at one place. Than I asked my other cousin tell me now how to use that coconut leaf stem....silence.. he was too afraid.. because he was too not knowing how to use it.... I was pissed off.. I thought its end now. If I some how survive also what about cousins they will die. there parents would kill me.. I thought if by any chance we fall in water its better to die. I prayed god and like how seen in movie I started using that stem. boat started rotating round in water.. oh god than slowly after lot of try managed too take boat at bank of lake I jumped out of boat.. that jump was far better than any super hero.. because that jump was too save my cousins.. I pulled boat with rope and told cousins to get out of boat fast. than some how I managed to take back boat near pole where it was initially kept.
That cousin was at bank watching everything smartly from starting to end but didn't to one step forward to help. but I think " Jo kuch bhi hota hai ache ke liye hota hai" if something would had happened he would had as messenger to inform our family..
so I have remark in my family " tujhya sarkha masti ani vidvan amchy agharat na koni jhala nahi koni honar"..hahahahahahaha
